Description Egmont Koblinger 2004-09-21 09:01:48 UTC
Launch gnome-theme-manager (control-center 2.8.0).

Here select a theme that suggests a font which is different from the
font currently being used. Most likely "Large Print" is a good choice.
Click on "Apply Font".

The font changes correctly, but this button becomes inactive and hence
even if I choose another theme, I cannot accepts the suggested font of
that one. I have to restart gnome-theme-manager to do it.

Please note that the bug only occurs if the "Apply Font" button really
changes the font, that is, if the suggested font is the same as the one
currently being used then the "Apply Font" button does the correct job,
it remains active.

I was able to verify that clicking the "Apply Font" button made it go
inactive, however none of the other stock themes suggested a different
font so I couldn't verify whether or not the button becomes active again.

I had to use "gnome-font-properties" to get my font back to "Sans 10".

This is almost certainly a duplicate of bug 104913.
