Description Eugenia Loli-Queru 2004-09-21 07:51:49 UTC
There is a low-res problem with some RH/Gnome apps.

These shots above show that these pref panels or menus don't fit well on a
800x600 monitor. The resolution is still used a lot in the world, 25% of the
internet users use it: http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=7440 and it
should be taken into account when designing applications.

Generally, it is a good practice to design most windows for 700x500 (taking
100pixels off because of the two default gnome-panels and the window manager).

in which dialog/capplet is the bug ?
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2005-01-04 23:33:29 UTC
AccessX and cddb capplets, FWIW.
Comment 4 Sebastien Bacher 2005-08-14 16:35:48 UTC
The cddb dialog is fixed, it used 2 tabs now.

All keyboard a11y features were merged into the keyboard capplet now, which is in the 700x500 boundary (gtk_window_get_size() returns 497 x 478 pixels on my machine). I think this can be closed.
