1. open a file ;)

the load dialog finishes but then it takes ages until the image is finally opened.

Thanks for the report. The more reports about this problem, the better. The GTK+
folks need to understand that this is a severe problem.

hopefully this will get fixed as gimp 2.2 is really a step forward and shouldn't
be hindered by a gtk bug!
