Hi, Any reason that such a small change takes so much time? I'm sure it can be fixed in 5 minuets. Thanks
Sorry for this delay. Has been committed right now and will be in upcoming 1.8.10.
On triage of bug 492417, I got the impression, that this bug was invalid and will possible reverted. GnuCash does not use some national abbreviation like "NIS", but the unique ISO-4217-Code, which is, as shown on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217 and other pages "ILS". Only with the ISO code, it is possible to get price quotes online. But if you think, it is important, to have the national abbreviation shown instead, feel free to file an enhancement request with the details.
I'm fine with reverting the change done for this bug, see my request at issue #492417. Thanks.
