Description of Problem:
In a regular nautilus window, pressing F2 renames the file.  This
doesn't work on a file which is on the Desktop.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Click on some icon on the desktop.
2. Press F2

Actual Results:
nothing

Expected Results:
Should be the same as when I right-click the icon and choose Rename.
