Description Sven Arvidsson 2004-09-07 16:42:13 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If you try to open a mozilla bookmarks file from Nautilus all you get is the
following error message:

"The filename "bookmarks.html" indicates that this file is of type "HTML page".
The contents of the file indicate that the file is of type "Mozilla bookmarks
file". [...] To open the file, rename the file to the correct extension for
"Mozilla bookmarks file""

.html seems to be the correct extension for bookmarks exported from Mozilla
Firefox and Mozilla Browser, making opening such a file in GNOME quite confusing.

Not sure if this is a quirk in Nautilus, shared-mime-info, or anywhere else.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Export bookmarks from Mozilla, (choose the standard file extension).
2. Open the file from Nautilus.

Does this happen every time?
