* Open a chat window with anyone.
* Let anyone but the people chat views are already opened for send you a message.
* Drag the contact with the blinking icon to the notebook (to read the new message
  and continue the conversation).
* Now, a new chat view is opened, the new message can be read, but the roster
  item keeps blinking.
  (After a double click on the item, this is resolved).
