Description Antoine Musso 2004-09-01 19:04:39 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: enhancement
Version: GNOME2.6.1 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Debian
Synopsis: ability to configure height of each block
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Window List Applet
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x
Description:
Hello !

My window list is in a vertical panel on the left of the screen and use
the whole space from top to bottom. The width of the pannel is 24
pixel.

When I have only one window opened, the window list is filled with one
big block with the icon in the middle. With two windows each block use
half the height of the screen.

In the window list preferences, tab "size" we can set the minimum and
maximum size of the applet, could there be option to set the min and max
sizes of blocks as well ?

To test layout I am thinking of:

Create a new pannel on left, set width to 24 pixels, add the window list
applet to it, launch two applications (so you will have 2 icons). Then
change the maximum size to 50.

That's a known (and annoying) bug.
