GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 151505
Patch which adds a bunch of german locations
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Attached a patch which adds a lot new german locations. I tried to clean up some city names. If only one location exists for a city I used the main name of that city: for example the official airport name is Erfurt-Bindersleben. Than I changed it to Erfurt. When reading to other open bug reports, I see the format of locations will be changed in future to fix the i18n and hig issues. So maybe the patch is useless.

Kai, Thanks for this, however weather locations should be storing in Locations.xml.in. If you could update this file that would be much more helpful. In truth, the Locations file you edited should probably be removed.
Kai, any chance of an updated patch?
Sorry, I have too much to do. Finishing my diploma thesis. Please wait for an updated patch until 1st of december.
Sorry, I didn't see this bug when I submitted bug 155203. There's the patch for the xml file. I didn't drop stuff like -Binderleben, because I don't like dropping information ;-). Users looking for Erfurt will find Erfurt-Bindersleben just as fast. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 155203 ***
