Description weskaggs 2004-08-27 22:13:37 UTC
Hi,

I have been developing and writing docs for GIMP for some time, and recently
playing with gthumb, I have been impressed by how far it has come along, and how
well it complements GIMP, gthumb providing the collection-management and
browsing functions that GIMP is weak in, while GIMP provides very powerful image
editing functions. One thing that would make the interaction even nicer would
be a more direct way to open images in GIMP from gthumb. It would be nice to be
able to set a preference, or run with a command line flag, that would make a
double-click, or some other simple action, cause an image to open in GIMP.

I have added the "g" shortcut key to open images in gimp (in CVS HEAD, 2.9.0).
