Description Daniel Brodie 2004-08-18 20:50:36 UTC
With the new feature in 2.7 that allows users to turn on/off per folder hidden
file settings I decided to go and enable showing hidden files and just disable
the certian folders I would like not to see hidden folders on (specifically, my
home folder and the desktop). There seems to be no way to disable showing hidden
files on the desktop.

I have open the x-nautilus-desktop: folder in nautilus and tried disabling
showing hidden files in that windows, and while it worked OK for that window,
the desktop still shows hidden files.

If it matters, I have my home folder set to my desktop folder.
