Description John Arundel 2004-07-24 07:36:27 UTC
Double-clicking a bookmark in the Bookmarks dialog opens it in a new window.
Although there is a context menu option to open the bookmark in a new tab, it
would be nice if you could ctrl-double-click to do this, just as ctrl-clicking
on a link in the main window opens the link in a new tab.
Comment 1 John Arundel 2004-07-25 09:58:20 UTC
Middle-click elsewhere has the semantics of 'open in a new tab'; arguably this
should apply here too.
Comment 2 Christian Persch 2004-07-25 10:16:48 UTC
There has been discussion of this in bug 106250 and as I read it we decided
against it... but now that we support middle-click/control-click also in the
bookmarks menus, maybe we should reconsider?
The obvious problem here is in _which window_ to open the tabs?
Comment 3 John Arundel 2004-07-28 06:06:03 UTC
I don't know, but doesn't the required logic already exist for the right-click /
'Open in new tab' option?

I don't suppose it much matters as long as whichever window it is is brought to
the foreground.
Comment 4 Christian Persch 2004-10-13 10:55:20 UTC
Mass reassigning of Epiphany bugs to epiphany-maint@b.g.o
Comment 5 Christian Persch 2005-02-10 18:23:16 UTC
Mass-moving bugs from Target Milestone: 1.6 to 1.8 because of feature, UI and
string freeze.
Comment 6 Reinout van Schouwen 2005-07-27 23:56:51 UTC
will be sorted out in bug 310814.
