Just as there are CPU, RAM, network, swap space, and load average indicators for
the Gnome Panel, I want to suggest the addition of a hard disk activity
indicator.  Especially for people not using their Gnome desktop immediately next
to the computer chassis, thanks to the multi-user power of Linux, it's
convenient and helpful to see how busy the disks are and what's going on.
