Description fleit 2004-07-09 15:51:39 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)
Package: epiphany
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.6. unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: The browser breaks down at startup saying epiphany.bin crashed.
Bugzilla-Product: epiphany
Bugzilla-Component: General
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.6.0)
Description:
Description of the crash:

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. I am running Fedora Core 2 x86-64 on a dual Opteron machine
2. I select Epiphany from the taskbar
3. It crashes immediately saying epiphany.bin crashed

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
This happens every time. I have not been able to start epiphany on this
machine.

Additional Information:
I also have another box running Fedora Core 2 on an Athlon XP2000. On
that box Epiphany runs fine. Maybe the problem
is that there is no soundcard on the Opteron box. I get a warning
message about that when I startup.
