How often does this happen?

Additional Information:

I am using a off the shell HP PC with an AMD64-bit processor with a
200GB Harddrive with Windows XP and a second Harddrive with 80GIG just
for Linux.
During the installation I let the system perform the disk partition and
I review it afterwards.
I see a message warning me about the disk in but I didn't paid attention
because windows work fine.
Maybe there is something related to the disk drive? I don't know.
