Seemed to be renamed error.wav.ogg Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Locate WAV file 2. double click three times (first two times nothing happened). 3. Crash occurs on third doubleclick Expected Results: Soundfile should have played. How often does this happen? Fist time, brand new installation Additional Information: WAV file was distributed by OpenText's FirstClass collaboration server. They have a linux client. playing a file with gnome-sound-RECORDER ? its primary goal is to record sound, not to play them (use totem/rhythmbox/muine instead) could you attach the file please ? (would probably move the bug to GStreamer itself)
