Description Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2004-07-06 00:11:26 UTC
this is kind of interesting idea i had while using firebird today (sorry guys
i've been using windows mostly lately for pragmatic reasons :/). Anyway i tend
to use a lot of temporary bookmarks for ebay auctions etc. It'd be useful if the
add bookmark menu item became a "remove bookmark" menu item if a page was
already bookmarked. That way i could just get rid of a page after an auction has
expired for instance. I'm sure there are other uses too, just can't seem to
think of them off the top of my head.

Ooh, I kinda like that. Confirming, setting minor priority and usability keyword.

Mass reassigning of Epiphany bugs to epiphany-maint@b.g.o
Comment 3 Reinout van Schouwen 2004-12-23 23:07:34 UTC
Disagree. The label of a menu item should not change, especially not when it's
not immedeately obvious why it happens.

However I do agree that it should be easier to quickly delete bookmarks. Random
suggestion: how about a statusbar indicator whenever a bookmarked page is
visited. Clicking it would open a menu with two options, Properties and Delete
this bookmark.

Does anybody have better ideas?

That idea sounds like a nice one. Though I'm sure it'll have a11y and discoverability problems. :(
