This works OK in Xine, so the codecs are in place and installed. However Totem
won't play these files. It says it can't parse the M3U playlist for RPM files.
RTSP files ... hmm, can't remember the error but it sounded gnome-vfs related.

Oops, sorry, got my versions mixed up. This is a gstreamer backend bug (not even
really a bug?)

Moving to GStreamer as an RFE.
There's no support for rtsp:// in GStreamer currently.

AFAIK it is not fixed. I do not believe there is any RTSP support in GStreamer.

Zaheer worked on this a while ago, he put a first semi-working patch in another
bug. It needs more work, but looks promising. I suggest to continue discussion
there and dup this one.
