Description Ryan P Skadberg 2004-07-05 13:25:31 UTC
I'd like to see the ability to right click on a URL. This would bring up a menu
with the following options:

a) Open URL in a Browser
b) Copy Link Location

Those are the only two I can think of. The second one is the big one, since I
don't always want a browser to open a link (like for a music file or something)

Don't pay attention to the last comment - it was a mistake.
Comment 3 Jan Alonzo 2005-05-06 11:22:24 UTC
b) is fixed. As for a), default behaviour not enough (left click on a link)?
Comment 4 Ryan P Skadberg 2005-05-06 23:00:19 UTC
Saying this more for consistency. Look at other Gnome Apps (Terminal,
Evolution, etc), when you click on a link, you have the option to both copy link
location or to open it. Even the browsers do this.

Hi! Are you talking about left or right click here? I don't use evo nor
gnome-terminal so I have no idea what those apps do. Copy link location has been
done. As for opening the link, browsers do this to allow the user to open it in
a different tab or window. But since Straw doesn't open web pages in the view,
the default action for left-click is to open a new browser window. Kindly clear
this one up for me because I don't really get it :(
Comment 6 Ryan P Skadberg 2006-01-21 21:32:20 UTC
Yes, it is diplicate behavior, but it is what most Gnome apps do, so it would be nice to have this to match other Gnome apps.
