GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 144523
All changes (eg. radio stations) lost on crash
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
1. Add radio stations to rhythmbox 2. Maybe one of them crashes it 3. Reload rhythmbox 4. All previously added stations are lost Rhythmbox should save the list of radio stations (and maybe other stuff if relevant) after every change. It isn't that speed critical that it would affect the user. At the moment it only seems to save on exit and there isn't even a menu option to force it to save. I don't think we really want the latter, so it should save all the time. Twice now I've lost a whole load of added radio stations and this time I'm giving up on it (for now) - which is a shame because rhythmbox is a nice program. You might say "it shouldn't crash" - true but it does, always will, and certainly shouldn't loose entered information in this case.
This is a not disimilar request to what is mentioned in bug 155306
