When right-clicking on the panel notification icon for rhythmbox, the Next,
Previous and Pause buttons do not work. However, show window does work.

Did you restart the gnome-panel after starting Rythmbox? I have seen this
behaviour if i restart the panel after rb.

Using Rhythmbox 0.8.5 with the Gstreamer backend.

I had setup Rhythmbox to be start in the Gnome Sessions dialogue, so it was just
always there. So, you could very well be right for the cause.

I experience the same behaviour upon a panel restart: all items in notf. area
icon menu don't work, apart from "Show Window".  Something to do with callbacks
getting lost, perhaps?  Note that clicking the icon to appear/disappear the
window still works.

I think that this is a RB bug, not a panel problem, because gaim's menu survives
a panel restart without any trouble.

that's fixed with the current CVS, I'm closing the bug
