Description Brian "netdragon" Bober 2004-06-03 18:08:22 UTC
You should be able to log out or re-login when browsing network shares. It might
be necessary to login to a share, then login with a different name to a
different share.

I think I've seen problems in this area when giving the wrong password as well.
I had problems reauthenticating after that.

I need also this feature.

Ubuntu 9.10 / Nautilus 2.28.1

This bug still applies.

There is currently no way to reauthenticate to samba shares. Whats making things worse is that once you save a login forever the user has no way of revoking it anymore.

Also if a Samba share is accessible via the Guest login the user has no way of authenticating to get more rights to the same share.

This is needed badly.

You can just enter the location smb://my-other-username@server/share or create another mount via "Connect to server"
