Description Matthias Bläsing 2004-05-28 20:09:50 UTC
1. Open gnome-terminal
2. Start aptitude
3. Open a deep tree a scroll through the resulting list

I testest "konsole", normal text login and xterm. All of them where really fast
when scrolling, only gnome-terminal was nearly unusable.

While scrolling through the list gnome-terminal produces 75% CPU usage, konsole
only takes 33%. (On a P3-1000!)
