Install gtk and GIMP in Windows 2000 or XP
Bug will come out in DOS when starting the GIMP as:
<gimp-2.0.exe: 1008>: WARNING: Couldn't load font "New Small Ming Font (should 
be in Chinese) Bold 9" falling back to "Sans Bold 9"

When I open some files, it states that it couldn't load font "New Small Ming 
Font (should be in Chinese) Bold 9". Then the program closes automatically.

Most probably a problem with the font, could be a duplicate of bug #101856 or
just simply the problem described in Jernej's FAQ combined with another problem.
Anyway, there isn't much we can do than to ask the bug reporter to try to update
Pango to 1.4. If that doesn't fix the problem, a new and more detailed bug
report should be opened.
