Description Matthias Bläsing 2004-05-21 19:46:38 UTC
Description of Problem:
A once mounted disk, once used with nautilus can't
be umounted!

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open/Mount a removeable device with a .pdf File
on it with nautilus (I used nautilus 2.6.1 from
Debian)
2. Rightklick on .pdf and open it with xpdf
3. close xpdf, nautilus
4. try to unmount it

Actual Results:
The Disk will not be unmounted. I think this is
caused by famd. As far as I know apart from
nautilus no other programm uses the fam service on
this disk, so nautilus should be able to release
it also.

Expected Results:
Release fam watches on the disk and umount it
cleanly (although I think fam should be altered)

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
None necessary

Thanks for the bug report. You must not be using 2.6, since this was fixed.
