Description Eugenia Loli-Queru 2004-05-21 07:44:04 UTC
This bug is a multi-bug report, they are all related so I thought I put them
together.

Bug 1. Copy a file from a Nautilus window and paste it on the desktop using
the context menu. The file is getting pasted NOT where you placed your mouse
cursor, but on the lower left of the monitor. This happens for
either "Arranged" icons or not, but the behavior is not the same if you d-n-d
a file (d-n-d places the icon where your cursor asks it to). The behavior
should be the same.

Bug 2. Copy a file from the desktop. Move that file to Trash. Now try
to "Paste" on the desktop. The "Paste" command is NOT greyed out, but it
doesn't paste anything because the file is deleted. Either support pasting
from files from the trash, or grey out the "Paste" on the context menu.
