Description Ricardo Erbano 2004-05-13 14:44:02 UTC
If nautilus doesn't question for user name and password the nautilus tries
login using user anonymous. That is a problem mainly if the server has only
sharing for especific users (hasn't apparent shared). In this case nautilus will
fail.

But how about asking for the user to input a username and a password, the same
way it does when opens a directory in a share.

When you open the "computer itself" it doesn't ask, but when open a directory it
does.

Example:
smb://computer (doesn't ask for password - in a w2k enviroment at least)
smb://computer/folder (does ask for password - same enviroment)
