Description Frederic Crozat 2004-05-11 09:09:14 UTC
-Make sure you don't have gstreamer module supporting a specific file type (for
instance, don't install gstreamer-quicktime install)
-run rhythmbox testfile.mov (for instance, use the file from bug #142320)
-rhythmbox starts but doesn't complain or anything

It should open an error dialog like "file type is not supported blablabla".

This is now fixed in CVS. Instead of creating a separate window to display file import errors, we use a child source of the main library source, so we can always display errors regardless of how the import was triggered.
