Description Eduardo Teixeira 2004-05-08 19:39:14 UTC
Hi there!

I have a Wacom Graphire3 graphic tablet. It worked OK with Gimp 1.2.5. But when
I use it with Gimp 2.0.1 it makes the program crash immediately. I also made
some experiences by using my normal mouse to draw 2 lines using the brush and
the airbrush and then I start to use the pen. I try to draw with the pen, but it
does nothing This makes the console appear and it gives me the following errors:

<gimp-2.0.exe:2472>: Gdk-WARNING **:losing last reference to undestroyed window

<gimp-2.0.exe:2472>: GLib-GObject_CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1320
<g_object_unref>: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed

<gimp-2.0.exe:2472>: GLib-GObject_CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1338
<g_object_unref>: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed

<gimp-2.0.exe:2472>: GLib-GObject_CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1338
<g_object_unref>: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed

I don't know why the last error repeats twice.
My computer is a (old :( )Pentium-III, 600 Mhz with 256 MB of RAM and a ATI
Radeon 9200 SE
I hope this helps the bug-hunting :)

The best of luck to the gimp-team and thanks for the great job. I also use
Photoshop, but I already prefer this new (2.0.x)interface to one of Photoshop.

Eduardo

Sorry the tablet support of gdk2/win32 is known to be broken (and so it got
disabled by default recently). It's a matter of spare time, skills and hardware
- if all these meet at one place - this bug may get fixed eventual, but not
before ;)
