Description joshg 2004-05-06 18:21:18 UTC
I just installed FC2T3 and was anxious to see the keyring in action. However, it
doesn't save keys within a session or permanently in my keyring. No matter what
I put for these options, I'm prompted for a password every single time I access
a network resource.

I confirm, clicking "ALWAYS REMEMBER" never remembers, it defeats the whole
purpose of the keyring! When I access my favorite sftp accounts, I have to click
the "folder", wait for a prompt for the keyring password (this one is okay),
enter the password,

***if you take too much time entering that password, an annoying nautilus window
will get on top thinking the app has hung and telling you that you can cancel by
clicking this nice button***

wait a few seconds and see another dialog asking me if I want the keyring to
remember my password
[only for this session], [no] [always remember].

If you choose always remember, the next morning when you try that again, the
dialog will still be presented to you. It has amnesia ;)
