Description of Problem: working with midnight commander sometimes crashes the terminal Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open gnome-terminal and some tabs 2. Open mc from bash prompt 3. Work with mc (copy files from one place to another, swirtching from one panel toanother...) Actual Results: gnome-terminal process # crashes Expected Results: gnome-terminal process doesn't have to crash How often does this happen? when I heavily use mc with gnome-terminal in more than one "gnome-terminal tab" Additional Information: none
Debian GNU/Linux unstable Linux 2.4.26-1-686 i686
Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused the crash. Please see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for more information about getting a useful stack trace. However, could you provide some information about the gnome-terminal version ?
gnome-terminal version is 2.4.2 (Debian GNU/Linux)
