Description Dave Camp 2004-04-27 20:48:52 UTC
It'd be nice to have easy-to-use queries that queried on patch statuses, so that
I could do things like "show me all the accepted-commit_after_freeze patches"
Comment 1 Elijah Newren 2004-11-14 03:20:40 UTC
See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/reports/patch-diligence-report.cgi (do a
"View->Page Source" and you'll note that the script takes a lot of parameters
too) and http://bugzilla.gnome.org/reports/patches-to-act-on.cgi (which takes an
optional "use_blocked=1" parameter). There's another bug open about possibly
making this more general in the context of query.cgi or something like that.
Right now, though, I can't think of any specific uses not covered by the above
two scripts so it's kind of low priority. If you could give us some additional
queries you'd like to do, we could perhaps bump up the priority and/or make some
more cop-out workaround scripts. ;-)

No more cop-out workaround scripts for patch searching! Long live boogle!

Here are some examples of searches you can use with boogle:
  product:nautilus patch-status:accepted-commit_after_freeze
  product:nautilus patch-status:none priority:high
  product:nautilus patch-stuats:rejected meta-status:all
  product:nautilus patch-status:needs-work component:general

Simple links at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/reports/reports.cgi#maintainers exist
so that you don't have to remember the format of these queries... (posting this
comment just in case someone does a search and runs across this bug)
