Description mivanyo 2004-04-27 17:06:40 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: major
Version: 1.2.7
Synopsis: Galeon crashes occassionally for some unknown reason
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Description of Problem:
A dialog box appears informing the user that galeon has crashed and
offers to submit a bug report for the user.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start galeon
2. Stay logged in and using galeon for long periods of time ( a week or
two)
3. Crash seems to occur at a random time and not caused by anything
specific or obvious.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
About once every few months when it's least expected. MS windows
products may be expected to crash and people just accept it but I am
very surprised that galeon crashed.

Additional Information:
I am not able to provide any specific information because the problem
rarely occurs and doesn't seem to be triggered by anything to make it
repeatable.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/galeon-bin'

This is a crash in the flash plugin. Also note, that galeon 1.2 is no longer
maintained, please upgrade to galeon 1.3
