Description Leo 2004-04-18 02:56:02 UTC
I have win2k

got gimp-2.0.0-i586-setup-1 and gtk+-2.2.4-20040124-setup installed

using all truetype fonts for the desktop

Get the following error:

GLIB-CRITICAL ** FILE gconvert.c line 498 (g_convert) assertion 'str != NULL'
failed

P.S. where are the error logs kept, had to keep generating the error so I could
write down the error message a little bit at a time till I had it all

AFAIK there are no logs kept. The problem can be fixed by locating the font(s)
causing trouble and editing the font cache to remove the invalid characters in
the corresponding entries. Grepping for "Fontographer" in the fonts directory
may help.
