Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.6. 2.6.x Gnome-Distributor: GNOME.Org Synopsis: workspace switcher fails to show more workspaces on first run when set Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Workspace Switcher Applet Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x Description: Description of Problem: When you open the workspace switchers preference and increase the number of workspaces, it doesnt work the first time you log into GNOME, a logout/login shows the right number you set before and then if you change it, they change right away like normal Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Login to a new user 2. Right click the work space applet 3. Choose preferences 4. Click the up or down arrow to increase/decrease the number of workspaces Actual Results: No visual changes, stuff is stored in gconf and changes onscreen though and takes effect next session Expected Results: Workspaces change immediately, more are shown in the applet and are accessible. How often does this happen? Every time I make a new user with no previous settings (done twice now) Additional Information: None ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2004-04-17 02:07 ------- Unknown platform unknown.
