Description Wayne DeAngelo 2004-04-07 16:14:15 UTC
1. Start Gnopernicus with speech component active.
2. Start Gedit.
3. Using the "Gnopernicus Numeric Keypad Mappings by Layer" Guide, I press "0"
to navigate the layer, next I picked layer "9", which is "goto" menubar
4. The speech output is very unperdictable, it speak the items in the menu bar,
ie file, view, and so on. But what you get is the title bar name, some of the
items in the menu bar, and then the "string in the focus area".

I think that what you are trying to say is that you pick key"9" from layer"0".
In gnopernicus layer"9" is"braille layer"(see readme)and key "9" on layer "0"is
"goto menubar".

If this is the case (you picked key"9" from layer "0"), can you confirm that
you hear gnopernicus trying to speak the contens of the menubar an then it
interrupts this and speakes the title bar and the string in the focused area?

Comment 2 Wayne DeAngelo 2004-04-12 17:17:47 UTC
This is correct Dragan, with key 9 you should hear gnopernicus speaking the
contents of the menubar only... not what string you have in the text area of
gedit.
Comment 3 Dragan Sarbut 2004-04-14 07:58:17 UTC
OK, but does gnopernicus start to read the menubar, then interrupts the speech
and reads the text from the text area?
