Crash on close while saving

Package: GnuCash Severity: normal Version: 1.8.8 Synopsis: Crash while trying to close Bugzilla-Product: GnuCash Bugzilla-Component: General Description: Description of Problem: I had left gnucash up and running for several days, during most of which I had done nothing whatsoever with it. Eventually, I decided to close it; I switched to the desktop, let it load itself from swap, clicked the Save button, and immediately clicked the little close box in the upper left corner. (I'm not positive, but I may have done this last multiple times.) Shortly thereafter, gnucash closed, and in a few moments I had a "program crashed, file a bug report?" dialog. Steps to reproduce the problem: Aside from the bug description above, I've got no idea. Sorry. Actual Results: Program crashes. Expected Results: Program closes without crashing. How often does this happen? It's happened only once so far. Additional Information: It's possible that gnucash was still saving data when I clicked the close box; if so, this may have something to do with the crash. Yes, I suspect this is related to the "Exit-while-saving" bug. I thought it was fixed in 1.8.8, but clearly there is another code-path to the same issue. Thanks for reporting it.
