When starting up gnomeicu (0.99.5), an error dialog pops up multiple times
telling me I'm sending messages too fast. However, I haven't been sending any
messages at all since the program has just been started.

This only seems to happen the first time gnomeicu is started. When I close the
program and relaunch it, there is no such error. Same goes for using the status
menu to go offline and online again.
