Description Chris Shoemaker 2004-04-03 22:51:40 UTC
Steps to observed behavior:
1) create (e.g.) Income Bar Chart Report.
2) click Export.
3) choose a file name
4) view HTML file
5) File is empty (well, not empty, but blank when rendered)

Expected Behavior:
I expected to see an image of the report. E.g. a PNG whould be nice.
Comment 1 Derek Atkins 2004-04-04 15:32:35 UTC
Try printing the report and you will see the image.

I believe this is a gtkhtml/guppi problem, or perhaps a gnucash issue with how
they are integrated. however I do not believe anything can be done about it.
Comment 2 Christian Stimming 2004-04-05 09:07:10 UTC
As Derek already pointed out, this is a problem of the graphical library Guppi.
Guppi is unable to export any kind picture as would be necessary for any Chart
HTML export. Only Printing (with some known problem with placement) is possible.
This will only change when Gnucash switches to another graphical library, which
will happen in the gnome2 release which will probably happen sometime during 2004.
