Description Maynard Kuona 2004-03-29 16:19:58 UTC
1. Open an app using the new fileselector (eg Gedit)
2. Click open
3. Type Ctrl L to bring out the location entry dialog
4. Type in .bash_profile (for example) in the home directory (This is using Linux)
5. Click open.
6. You are returned to the selector and no file is opened.

As a suggestion (tongue in cheek :) ), maybe one of two things could solve this.
Typing '.' then something else should show all the hidden files (dot files) in
the selector, or maybe have a hidden files check box.

I tried this with a pre-release gedit, but GTK was version 2.4.0. Please someone
feel free to change the severity and priority of the bug.
