Install version 2.0.0 with GTK 2.2.4 on Windows XP version 5.1.2600. Attempt to
start GIMP. As the FONTS are being loaded this error appears:

gimp-2.0.exe:812): GLib-CRITICAL **: file gconvert.c: line 498 (g_convert):
assertion `str != NULL' failed

Initialization fails and the program terminates.

You would save yourself and us some work by doing a query on Bugzilla first.
