Description c.j.n.breame 2004-03-28 12:27:59 UTC
When typing into the location box, the path is completed.

Would it be possible to use ^I as well as tab to complete the path? This is
because tab already has a function (move focus to next component) and it can be
irritating when you press tab expecting your path to be completed only to
findout focus has moved.

Also, the path is only completed when what has already been typed in refers to a
unique name. Would it be possible to cycle through a list (perhaps with ^N and
^P) when there are multiple choices?
Comment 1 c.j.n.breame 2004-03-28 12:28:57 UTC
Perhaps also make use of ^U, ^K, and ^W (ala bash)

Let's use this report for your first suggestion. The second is covered by bug 99027.
Comment 3 Cosimo Cecchi 2011-04-06 19:32:54 UTC
The first suggestion is bug 92509, really.
