GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 138278
crash pressing Up when folder has been deleted
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
1. disable sgi_fam service (don't know if it matters) 2. make a folder 3. enter the folder with nautilus 4. from console delete the folder 5. in nautilus window press Up. Nautilus window dissapears, should have gone in the parent directory.
Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused the crash. Please see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for more information about getting a useful stack trace.
This looks the same like #112223 Did you try reproducing it? It's 100% reproductible here (plain Fedora Core 1 system). I can't get traces as I don't have debuginfo rpm packages. If it works for you, please mark again as NEEDINFO and I'll try recompiling the SRPM with debuginfo. Thanks
I think this is a dup of some other bug (not bug 112223 though). The crash itself is fixed in 2.6, but it still closes the window on up.
