Description Roman Polach 2004-03-13 16:08:15 UTC
extfs gnome-vfs module can be used with an application
in a manner like "file://path/archive.tar#tar:/innerfile.txt",
but this is not possible in nautilus - error "Nautilus cannot display ..."
Comment 1 Sebastien Bacher 2005-02-19 17:06:32 UTC
how to you try to open it ? The location field is to browse folders and I'm not
sure than the tar method allow to browse the archive.
Comment 2 Roman Polach 2005-02-21 12:03:00 UTC
ok, but "file://path/archive.tar#tar:/" or
"file://path/archive.tar#tar:/somefolder/"
also does not work for me...
Comment 3 Sebastien Bacher 2005-02-21 22:20:09 UTC
right, in fact this is due to some issues in the tar gnomevfs method. I'm
marking this bug as a duplicate of #131959.
