GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 137011
crash
Last modified: 2005-01-19 22:32:10 UTC
When booting Linux, I get the message -- Application "nautilus" crashed due to a fatal error. (Segmentation fault)
Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused the crash. Please see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for more information about getting a useful stack trace. Also, which version of Nautilus are you using?
i get the same error... always when gnome starts. if i close the error message it appears again. a nautilus --check says: ----begin---- (nautilus:6209): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed. running nautilus_self_check_search_uri FAIL: check failed in nautilus-search-uri.c, line 702 evaluated: nautilus_search_uri_to_human ("search:[][]file_type is file") expected: Objekte, die reguläre Dateien sind got: Objekte die »reguläre Dateien« sind FAIL: check failed in nautilus-search-uri.c, line 705 evaluated: nautilus_search_uri_to_human ("search:[][]file_name contains stuff & file_type is file") expected: Objekte mit »stuff« in ihren Namen, die reguläre Dateien sind got: Objekte mit »stuff« in ihren Namen und die »reguläre Dateien« sind FAIL: check failed in nautilus-search-uri.c, line 710 evaluated: nautilus_search_uri_to_human ("search:[][]file_name contains stuff & file_type is file" " & size smaller_than 2000") expected: Objekte mit »stuff« in ihren Namen, die reguläre Dateien kleiner als 2000 Byte sind got: Objekte mit »stuff« in ihren Namen, die »reguläre Dateien« sind und kleiner als 2000 Byte FAIL: check failed in nautilus-search-uri.c, line 714 evaluated: nautilus_search_uri_to_human ("search:[][]file_name contains medusa & file_type is directory") expected: Objekte mit »medusa« in ihren Namen, die Ordner sind got: Objekte mit »medusa« in ihren Namen und die »Ordner« sind running nautilus_self_check_file_utilities running nautilus_self_check_file_operations FAIL: check failed in nautilus-file-operations.c, line 2355 evaluated: get_duplicate_name (dcgettext (((void *)0), "foo (13th copy)", __LC_MESSAGES), 1) expected: foo (14.
