Description Ross Burton 2004-03-10 16:47:28 UTC
I cannot open dot files.

Example, in gedit File->Open. No dot files are visible, which is fair
enough. The trick in the old file selector was to type .[tab] into the
entry, but there is no entry in the new design. So I hit Control-L and
type the filename in (with completion, thats not too bad) and hit return,
but then nothing is selected as *the dot file isn't in the list*. Pressing
[return] does nothing.

I suggest either adding an entry after all, or adding an entry for the
dotfile into the list if it wasn't found but does exist.
