GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 136577
After loading an .xls file and saving to .gnumeric, lots of objects are lost
Last modified: 2005-07-06 08:46:01 UTC
I can load the attached .xls file correctly, but when I save/quit/reopen the logo image and text objects vanish. Lots of warnings/errors: ** (gnumeric:5492): CRITICAL **: file ../../src/position.c: line 173 (parse_pos_init_sheet): assertion `IS_SHEET (sheet)' failed ** (gnumeric:5494): WARNING **: Trying to fallback to 'Sans' ** (gnumeric:5494): WARNING **: GnomePrint: Requested Arial but using Sans (Sans Regular 10.000000) ** (gnumeric:5494): WARNING **: Trying to fallback to 'Sans' (gnumeric:5494): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: file gdk-pixbuf-loader.c: line 424 (gdk_pixbuf_loader_write): assertion `buf != NULL' failed ** (gnumeric:5494): WARNING **: Unable to display image
Created attachment 25351 [details] .xls file that imports correctly but cannot be re-saved
As an update, creating a new project, inserting an image, save/reload in gnumeric format and we get the same problem. This may be a problem with image objects, not with Excel importing
Image objects are fixed in CVS, both XL and Gnumeric format
