Description bill.haneman 2004-03-07 12:54:32 UTC
see performance bug 109187, where the issue is first noted.

This bug spoils performance in StarOffice spreadsheets, since we are
rebuilding the component list on every keyboard switch.

We may have a problem with CONTAINER add/delete problems too - which was
aggravated by the fix for the "doesn't follow hyperlinks" bug.

Comment 2 bill.haneman 2004-04-08 09:16:47 UTC
reducing severity until we identify urgent performance issues which require a
fix to this bug (as per conversation with DB yesterday).

Apologies for spam-- ensuring Sun a11y team are cc'ed on all current a11y bugs.

Bill would this bug be a good place to have our gok-spy model updating refactor
discussions? Gosh that's a weird sentence. Sorry. Note I'm not active on this
but had I do occasionally have thoughts on it I should jot down.

gok (GNOME on-screen keyboard) development has been stalled and it has been replaced by caribou [1]. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing all the bugs as WONTFIX.
