Description Bart Martens 2004-03-07 10:10:08 UTC
This happens on Fedora Core 1 with gnome-panel-2.4.2-3 :

1. Have a gnome-panel, expanded, orientation bottom
2. Drag all objects to the places where you want them
3. Rightclick, select properties
4. Switch off expanded, click close
5. Rightclick, select properties
6. Switch on expanded, click close
7. See all objects are moved to the right
Comment 1 Vasista Sarma 2004-09-29 11:32:07 UTC
Unable to observe this on gnome-panel-2.8.1
Comment 2 Vincent Untz 2004-12-22 18:21:49 UTC
I can see this with HEAD.

Comment 4 Christian Neumair 2004-12-26 13:37:08 UTC
I'm on 2.8.1 (Ubuntu) and get the same results as Vasista. Vincent: Maybe this
is broken on HEAD again due to some new changes?
Comment 5 Vincent Untz 2006-01-24 19:29:32 UTC
Mass changing: milestone 2.12.x => milestone 2.14.x
Comment 6 Tommi Komulainen 2006-10-15 00:42:46 UTC
With 2.14.3 top/bottom panel, arranging everything left-aligned and toggling expand off+on makes everything right-aligned, regardless of 'Lock to panel' setting for applets.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
