Description Darren Adams 2004-03-04 11:36:20 UTC
When running the 'testfilechooser' program that gets built when compiling
GTK+ 2.3.x, I pressed CTRL+L to make the file choosers' location dialog box
appear then tried to go to my desktop backgrounds directory by entering
~/art/backgrounds into the dialog box, but this caused the program to bail
with a segmentation fault.

This does not mirror what happens when I use Nautilus 2.5.8; I can type
~/art/backgrounds into its location dialog box and be taken to that directory.

Furthermore, when I try a similar operation in Gedit (I tried to use the
location dialog box to go to the directory ~/documents/work), it caused the
application to hang.

I am using GTK+ 2.3.5
